DRONE PHOTOS
& VIDEO
Drone photos and video show the property's plot, surroundings and location, with optional boundary lines and nearby attractions highlighted to help buyers and holiday guests.

The view you can't get from the ground
What is it for?
Drone photography shows the things your customers really want to understand: the shape and size of the plot, how the garden is laid out, and how the property sits within its surroundings. Whether it's in open countryside, woodland, or on the coastline drone photography can help set the scene.
The boundary can be marked on the image to make it clear what's included. For holiday lets, I can mark on the useful things nearby such the footpath down to the beach, the village shop, etc, which is really useful for holiday guests to get their bearings.

When to use it?
Aerial photography works beautifully for certain homes, and not so well for others. If your property sits close to the beach, near the Broads, or has large grounds or a generous garden, drone photos can capture what makes it special in a way ground-level shots simply can't Sometimes you can't get far enough back from the housewithout a drone.
Where they work less well is in more built-up areas where it might highlight all the neighbouring properties in close proximity to yours.
If you're not sure whether your property suits it, just ask.

drone video
Cinematic video, orbiting shots, rising up for the view...
Video comes into its own when a property has room to breathe, no immediate neighbours, a wraparound garden, or more than an acre of land, where sweeping, cinematic motion really shows the place off. It's also perfect for coastal homes. I recently filmed a holiday let at Winterton-on-Sea where I flew over the property and out across the beach to the sea, so you could see in one continuous shot just how close it was, a short walk, ideal for dog owners and anyone who loves a coastal stroll.
Where video works less well is on modern housing estates or where neighbours are close by, because unlike photos, those sweeping shots capture everything around the property, not just the flattering bits.
Video does something stills can't: it lets a buyer imagine actually arriving and living there. A slow rise or a three hundred and sixty degree orbit reveals how the property sits in the landscape, and if it's set in open countryside, it shows all that space and seclusion around it. An approach shot flying in along the lane or driveway gives a real sense of arrival, and the finished footage works beautifully on property portals, an agent's website, and especially social media, where video far outperforms still images.

Good to know for any drone work
The legal bit, handled
Most areas are fine to fly in, but some need special permission, and a few are off-limits altogether. If your property is near Norwich airport, for example, I'll contact Air Traffic Control to get clearance. You don't need to worry about any of that — I check the airspace and permissions for your property in advance and sort out whatever's needed before I arrive. Drone work is fully insured too, so it's all taken care of.
Weather-checked, worry-free
Drones can't fly safely in strong wind or rain, so I always check conditions carefully before heading out. I use professional weather services that let me check wind speed not just at ground level but all the way up to four hundred feet, the maximum height a drone can legally fly, because it often behaves very differently up there. If the weather won't allow a safe, high-quality shoot on the day, I'll simply reschedule at no extra cost to you.
